Terroir & grape varieties

An exceptional terroir

Located in Montjean-sur-Loire, our area benefits from a schist terroir on the one hand and clay-limestone on the other hand, an ideal balance for the development of fine and expressive white wines . The temperate climate and the influence of the Loire bring optimal maturity to grapes, revealing subtle aromas and beautiful complexity.

Emblematic grape varieties

We mainly cultivate the Chenin, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, three grape varieties which offer a beautiful aromatic diversity, from dry wine to softness. The white Chenin, emblematic of the white Loire wine , expresses remarkable liveliness and an exceptional aging capacity.

Serve our wines between 8 and 12 ° C to fully appreciate the aromas and keep them in a cool and dark place. Some dry white wines gain complexity with a few years of aging.
