A miracle of nature in the heart of Anjou
Each fall, the hillsides of the Layon are adorned with mystery with the appearance of the Botrytis Cinerea, or "noble rot". Favored by the morning mists of the Loire and the sweetness of the ancient climate, this rare natural phenomenon transforms the clusters into real jewels. He concentrates sugars and magnifies the aromas, giving birth to sweet wines of remarkable finesse, richness and longevity. Each vintage thus becomes the singular expression of a subtle balance between nature, climate and know-how.
An exceptional terroir in Saint-Aubin de Luigné
Located on the hillsides bathed in light from Saint-Aubin de Luigné, our vineyard is anchored in a complex soil of friable schists and clay-limestone, typical of Layon. This unique terroir forged wines with elegant minerality, balancing their natural sweetness with vibrant freshness. The reliefs, various exhibitions and microclimates shape an aromatic mosaic, giving our cuvées an inimitable depth and structure.
The Coteaux du Layon Saint-Aubin de Luigné cuvée-available in magnum
Developed from the clusters most concentrated by the noble rot, this cuvée offers a bewitching aromatic palette of candied fruit, white flowers and a final of a crystalline freshness. Its perfect development between tension and wealth makes it a wine that is both refined and generous, ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a fruity dessert.
Available in magnum format, this cuvée gains in greatness and guard. The large format promotes a slower and harmonious evolution, revealing over time all the complexity of the wine. Perfect for special occasions, the Magnum sublimates the tasting experience and impresses as much by its content as by its presentation.
