Chenin Blanc, a jewel of the Loire Valley
Chenin Blanc, the emblematic grape variety of Anjou, is distinguished by its unique ability to reveal the identity of its terroir. In the heart of the Loire Valley, it gives rise to luminous wines, marked by freshness, minerality, and an aromatic palette of rare complexity. Its aging potential and richness make it a must-have for lovers of elegant and expressive white wines.
An exceptional terroir surrounding the Château du Pin
Located on the slopes of Champtocé-sur-Loire, our vines are rooted in a terroir of schist and sandstone, typical of Anjou Noir. This poor, well-drained soil shapes wines with a precise structure, remarkable mineral tension, and natural balance. The Loire microclimate, tempered by the Loire River, allows for slow and complete ripening of the grapes, enhancing the elegance and aromatic depth of our Anjou Blanc wines.
A dry, vibrant, and gastronomic white wine
Our Chenin Blanc reveals delicate aromas of pear, fresh apple, and citrus, carried by a lively and structured palate. Its balance between roundness and tension, its saline and persistent finish, make it a wine equally at home as an aperitif or with a meal. An authentic white wine, at once pure, expressive, and perfectly suited to gastronomy.
