The Chenin grape in Anjou

An emblematic grape variety of the Loire Valley

The Chenin is the king's grape of white Anjou . It is distinguished by its ability to reflect the terroir that welcomes it, offering wines of great aromatic diversity, combining minerality and liveliness. Thanks to its richness and its development potential, it gives birth to balanced and expressive wines.

The Chenin, an emotional grape and contrasts

What makes the Chenin so fascinating is its ability to evolve over time. Young, he seduced by his freshness, his liveliness and his frank aromas of white fruits and citrus. With a few years of guard, he developed an astonishing complexity, revealing notes of honey, beeswax and sometimes even dried fruit. This natural evolution makes each bottle for a unique moment, to discover and rediscover according to the occasion. It is a wine that tells a story, that of its vintage, its soil and the care that has been brought to it over the seasons.

The influence of the schist terroir

The schist soils of our field give our wines a unique structure and beautiful tension in the mouth. This typicity makes white Anjou an ideal wine for gastronomy, highlighting subtle aromas and natural elegance. The peculiarities of the terroir are felt in each sip, offering a beautiful aromatic persistence.
