We had the pleasure of welcoming the 3rd grade SEGPA class from Saint-Joseph La Pommeraye middle school this Monday. To introduce them to our expertise and the various professions involved in working in a vineyard, Carl offered them a tour of our work, from vine to bottle.
The students spent time in the vineyards while Carl taught them how to harvest the grapes, explaining all the work that goes into caring for the vine during its dormant and growth phases.
The group then returned to the estate and visited the press room in full operation, the winery, the bottling room, and our dedicated area for producing our Crémant de Loire wines.
We hope that we have been able to pass on to these young people this piece of heritage that is wine in French culture.
